The other morning while in a time of prayer I was taken into partnership with the heart of God for children in this generation. I felt His all out grief and pain over the attack on the children. The evil one is ravaging the children. There are many demonic spirits and agendas that are working to choke out, silence, and steal the gift of God that is deposited inside them.
When the children were being formed in the womb, God sang a song over them. A unique song of purpose and identity. Their own eternity song that He intercity spun into their DNA. But the enemy is stealing and choking it out. Abortion is destroying the lives of the innocent before they can even begin to partner with the song of God put in their DNA. Those that make make it out of the womb untouched by abortion, are then being hit with an onset of targeted demonic attack.
This attack is pointed with clear intent to destroy the deliverers God is raising up. Like Exodus 2 and Matthew 2, every time God sets out to raise up a deliverer in a generation, the enemy comes to abort, assassinate, and steal. This current generation of children are mighty warriors. They are arrows in the hand of God that are sent forth to destroy darkness by walking in His marvelous light. The enemy knows this and is working to cancel and hinder this plan.
I saw a picture of a child with the song of God radiating from the inside of them. It pulsated from their DNA. But after being born, the enemy was using all these external demonic voices and agendas to drown out the song. Demons in the form of identity and gender confusion, abusive words, traumas and fears were screaming with megaphones over the child. The enemy is throwing everything he can at the children. He is working to deafen their ears to the song coming from the inside of them and distort and destroy their God given identity and destiny.
This truly breaks God’s heart. I heard His cry from the courts of heaven. He has a deep longing for defenders (in the form of parents and leaders) to arise to shield the children from these demonic deafening sounds. He is calling out “Let the children come to me! Do not hinder them!” He is judging every hinderance put in the way of children. This is one of the biggest burdens in His heart right now and He is looking for those who would go forth to establish His decrees of justice.
“When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14
This is the only time this particular Greek word for indignant is ever used for an emotion for Jesus in the entire Bible. And it means to have deep anger and disgust. To be very displeased. To have much grief and pain. This is what God feels about the demonic hinderances that are being put in front of the children.
In this hour God is looking for those who will hear His heart beat and feel His indignation for what is taking place in the children of our world. God is looking for parents and leaders within the church to arise and boldly sing the eternal song back to the children. The song that reverberates through their being, the song that He put inside them, must be sung boldly now.
I had a vivid disturbing dream. I saw children lined along the shore of these violent and foaming waves. Parents stood aloof farther up and said, “be careful down there!” All the while, in horror I looked on, and saw little 3, 4, and 5 year old children being pounded by the waves and many were lying face down in the water drowning! I watched on as other little children who were 6, 7, and 8 tried to wade over and lift the drowning little ones out of the water. I wept and the dream ended with me scooping a child out of the water and me trying to revive him. I woke up shook and I wept. The waters in my dream are a picture of the current onset of attack on this generation. The demonic agenda and the raging of humanity. These waves are coming over and over, specifically targeting the children in this hour. Instead of placating the issue, parents must arise now and protect their children against the wicked schemes of darkness and train up their households in the way of the Lord.
I heard God ask me, “What will the church do about this?”
I felt overwhelmed by the weight of it. One thing is for certain, we must enter into intercession with Him and stand in the gap for these vulnerable ones. These precious ones. We must arise and prophecy. We must shout God’s word.
My nine year old daughter Madison had a powerful dream about this generation. In her dream she was with the prophet Elijah along with other women and children. They were Elijah’s servants (disciples). She said a massive dark demonic hoard was approaching them. They looked to Elijah and asked, “What do we do?” Elijah said “Fight!” So they banded together and fought and they won a mighty victory in battle. The dream ended with a child running to them with tears flooding her eyes. She yelled “Elijah! Elijah! I have seen the Lord!” Then Christ returned and she woke up.
This dream is a powerful picture of God’s last day plan for this generation! In the last days He is sending the prophetic spirit of Elijah to a whole generation. They will arise in prophetic power and push back and overcome the darkness. God is raising up a whole generation who will be anointed with the Spirit and will step into their prophetic identity and destiny. They will arise like Elijah, who confronted the false prophets of Baal and the evil leaders Ahab and Jezebel. Just like culture today, Israel had abandoned the true God for idols and were sacrificing their first born to Baal. This generation is called to arise in boldness and confront the demonic forces at work in culture. Issues like abortion, sexual confusion, and perversion are a big deal to God and the filthy media that is flooding it out to the children, is the modern day prophets of baal. Parents and leaders in the church can partner with His heart and agenda to train up and raise up the children in the Lord. It is time to teach them how to hear His voice and be bold to not let media control or influence them.
Primary, let us cry out to God to raise up parents who will raise their children in His love and truth. Parents who will arise with their God given authority to parent their children with training, discipleship, and fierce covering and protection from the enemy. Let Godly moms and dads arise that will not forfeit their responsibilities to raise their kids to the cultural demons that are flooding schools, iPads, video games, movies, music, and the like.
In prayer, I also saw pictures of early childhood educators and media creators. I believe God is desiring to raise up influences in media to mold the hearts and minds of kids. God is intending to raise up childhood and media evangelists who will create quality content that holds up with the media giants of today. Like Mr. Rodgers. He was originally ordained and sent out as a televangelist to reach children by teaching the fruits of the spirit specifically kindness. He was a pioneer.
God showed me that there is a lost mantle and anointing from Mr. Rodgers that must be picked up by the church.
Let’s agree with God to raise up men and women with wisdom in childhood development and media to influence this generation with biblical teaching. That the teaching of the gospel and the fruits and gifts of the spirit would go out to spaces and places across the world. And I’m calling forth the mantle of Mr Rodgers. I’m asking for this to be picked up by this generation. God raise up bold men and women who will defy the current agendas being pushed out of media.
